Born out of The Studio series of glass animation videos by Bil.Co, the Bots are characters steeped in nostalgia and style. Raised in the 1970's, Bil.Co was exposed to a variety of iconic elements in his childhood from Legos to Voltron to 2001: A Space Odyssey. You can see these influences in his design aesthetic and they all come to intersect in these new series of Bots. Fun.Co Bot is made of copper leaf to create the cool blue color. Made from hand sculpted glass, these Bots have a firm footing in the past while also looking toward the future:
